How do I bend a brush along a path?

I've recently learned how to bend a brush along a path in illustrator, but would love to be able to do the same in photoshop. Is it possible, and if so how?

Hey esscher,

Create your path in the normal way, say with the pen tool. Now at the bottom of the paths palette there's an option to stroke the active path with the brush. The brush used will be whatever you have set inside the brush tool options.

Thanks, but I already know how to do that. Whenever I do that technique, I get multiple strokes of the brush along the path, not one brush "stamp" that follows the full curve. Does that make sense? If it is a matter of setting the brush tool options, I'm not sure what settings to use.

Have you tried resetting the brush? You can do this by selecting the brush, and then locating the presets arrow on the options bar (far left of options bar) and then right clicking on the arrow to reveal a reset menu. Choose the 'reset tool' option.
