How do I remove the old Nik software package?

I have downloaded and installed the latest free Nik software bundle which works perfectly with Photoshop or Lightroom. But I now want to delete the old package (v3) but find I cannot. I have App Cleaner but it cannot delete the old version. So I dragged the old Nik folder to the trash but I still have the Nik plugin option selections appearing on screen when I open Photoshop. Anyone know how to remove the old ink software package completely please? I am on Mac OSX.
