I have Photoshop CS now but when i had Photoshop 7 my icons for .psd files would show a little preview of what the image was.

For example If I went into Photoshop and drew a red circle and saved it as circle.psd on my desktop, and went to my desktop, it wouldn't show a Photoshop Icon but rather the .psd itself shrunk down to icon size (so it would actually show the red circle as the icon)... allowing me to preview the image before I opened it.

Does anyone know how to enable this feature in Photoshop CS?

Install the new updates. One is official from Adobe whilst the other is the fix that you are looking for. Give me a few days to see if I can hunt it down for you.
