Hey all,

I want to resize a folder of images and have the images land inside another folder all resized and saved as jpegs. I do this through the File > Scripts > Image Processor option - so no problems there.

However, I do not see an option to constrain proportions using this method. What if I want to turn this feature on or off for some reason.

I know I can resize single images and use the constrain proportions option (Image > Image Size) but what about a folder of images - is it possible or would I have to create an action / droplet? Again, this would bring its own problems as I may want to change the dimensions etc.

Any suggestions, thanks. Even another program that would do this for me.

Andy ;-)

Microsoft power toys for XP is free and once installed add a 'Resize Pictures' option to your windows explorer right click menu. So you can select an entire folder of images, right click as if you were going to copy them, and resize all of them at the same time with a few clicks. I just checked for you and it constrains the proportions of the image when it resizes them.
