Hey everybody, this might sound like a weird question but I develop apps for Android and am trying to learn how to create a 2d sunset or clouds image that simply goes from the left side of the screen to the right, forever. I would like it to look flush so that the right side of the image connects with the left.

Is there a specific name for an image like this? Are there any tutorials anyone can point me to that will show me how to create these?

Thanks very much

Welcome to the forum. It's not my area but I believe you are looking for 'looping animations'.

hi,
don't know anyting about programming apps for android... not sure if my reply is good enough...

however.....

i think your talking about some sort of animation.. either a looping animated gif or possibly in movie format or flash format where the program that is calling it up you can assign it to loop..

now i hope this is what your looking for... maybe the other guys have other thoughts on the matter... but anyway here a tutorial.....

Vitality, tell me if I understood you correctly, what you need is a cloud image that is faded on both ends so when the left side of the right cloud overlaps the right side of the left cloud, things will still look natural?
