I am not new to PS but this is a new problem for me...

Process: duplicate layer-multiply-oval marquee with feather-delete...notice the hard line on the right side of the photo?

I am not sure why this is happening. If I move the marquee over and delete the area a few times it goes away as does the multiply. I have batched this action and it happened on all of the images. It also happens on non-batched photos. Any advice is greatly appreciated as I am at a loss......
Thanks!!

There was an issue of this type with PS7, which is why I asked. I haven't heard anything about CS4 but there is a patch you should download and install if you haven't already done so.

If you figure it out, I'd appreciate your posting the answer. It's curious.

I did the update and no go...it is still happening. Interestingly enough, now it is the other side. I am going to keep plugging away at finding a solution. You have been a great help.

I am new to the forums but I already see their benefit..thanks so much. If you magically find the solution do tell and I will do the same!!
