I'm trying to make birthday invitations for my son's ninth birthday. But I can not change my background color. Or text font. Could someone possibly help me?
EDIT- As you can see here, I am running Adobe Photoshop CS3.

First things first, click Image-Mode and make sure you are set to RGB Color. If not select it. |

As you are in the beginners section, I assume you are new to PS, so give us as much information as possible.
What are you working on. Is it a blank background? If so you should be able to just use the paint bucket. Is this a new problem you have just encountered?
Text color is changed in the options bar at the top. |
