Hi, what i need to do is make certain colors in an image stand out, or select all the parts of that image where that color is, etc. Is there some sort of technique, etc where i set the color i need as my foreground color and then it will select all the instances of that coor in my image?

The info at the moment is a little vague but some things that spring to mind are a selective colour adjustment layer, hue and saturation and maybe the colour range command.

Just shots in the dark of course, but it may give you something to go on

Thats an important point. I didn't initially respond to this thread (and others) because i didn't quite understand what was being requested. Instead of trying to tell us what you are trying to do, maybe you should tell us what you are trying to 'accomplish.'
