Hi guys,
I have a photo of water droplets caught in a spider's web. The background is general vegetation/forest floor. The background is low contrast / out of focus (which is good), but quite vivid colours (which is bad, as it distracts from the main focus on the image, the web/droplets).
In order to make the spider's web and the droplets stand out against the background, I want to blur the background further and de-saturate it, while leaving the foreground in tact.
Does photoshop have a way to selecting the parts of the image that are high contrast (which in my case is the foreground). I know I can generate masks based on colour, but is there anyway to base a mask on how in-focus different image parts are? |
