Moving from Editor to Organizer in PSE version 6

Is there a quick and easy way to move from the editor to the organizer in a album in Photoshop Elements Version 6?

When editing the editor locks up the photos until you close the editor- so the photo can't be re-arranged in the organizer until the editor is closed then to use it again for another photo it has to be reloaded- which takes too much time.
