I need to present my 't shirt printers' and the other printers with a picture of the design for our t shirt and obviously, the logo for our sign.
I know how I want it, and I guess a jpeg of it would suffice.
Pretty simple really...
A circle, with "SAVANNAH COMBAT MARTIAL ARTS" going around the circle. inside the circle are flames filling up half of the space(from the bottom up). then S.C.M.A. written in big letters over the top of everything.

Don't forget it needs to be reletively cheap to put on a tshirt so the flames should only be in red, maybe some black 'low lights'...ill leave it up to you. tshirts are black and white so im thinkin' black for "S.C.M.A." and red for the writing. circle is black flames are red and black. replace black for white for our black tee's.

What do you get? Well, you get: space on my site www.fightingfit.us to advertise, and a warm fuzzy feeling for helping me out.

thanks for reading this, hope you can help.

well, less colors doesn't neccessarily equate to less expense?

I don't know about printing on shirts, but on paper you have two real choices, cmyk or pantone colors.

If you intend on having solid colors, and less than aboout 4 or 5 then I suggest sticking with pantone. Other wise you'll end up paying for 4 passess per cmyk color on the logo. As opposed to 1 pass per pantone color.

Also, could you whip a quick mockup of what you want. Use MS paint if you need to, but trying to envision how you want this and then getting it to be how you envision it just doesn't work out too well. You'll end up asking for alterations for, most likely, simplistic things that should not have been a problem.

I'll see what I can do for you but I'm pretty busy lately. Hopefully some of the more popular and experienced PS experts on this forum will take a stab at this for you.

Less ink does equate to less expense in my experience. It sounds like he actually want a 2 colour process rather than using spot colours and the like.

Nic, how are the t-shirts going to be printed? And, how many units are you printing?

I believe the shirts are screen printed, and we'll be getting say 50 printed to start with.(25 wht, 25blk).
Now i have prepared a example for you, but remember...I am no good with paint so it looks very sad...but you should get the idea.

thanks for your interest guys.

Also for the back of the tshirts, I was thinking of combining some pics I have found in a kind of 'evolution' style layout like the pic I have attched. the pics I have need to be turned into sillhouette's which I imajine is also a photoshop job. the pics are: samurai, old fashioned judo guy, wrestlers and a boxer.
I will need it in black with white background and vice versa.

heres the inspiration:
