I've been a a fan of photoshop for some time but never really go deeper into it.
Now i need help. How do you colour in a image that is white but need to match it with a certain colour and keep the white images details?
Any advice will be truly grateful & helpful, Cheers

There are several ways to colorize. For this type of image I like this method:
Add a solid color adjustment layer in the approximate color you want and change the blending mode. There are a number of options for the blending mode, sometimes Color works well, although for this image Linear Light worked best.
Paint the mask with white to reveal color and black to cover it.
Double click the layer to bring up the color palette and you can alter the color at any time.
