High everyone. I am new to Photoshop but have been using Photoshop Elements 6 & 9 for several years. In addition, I use Corel Painter 12 and a number of other graphical programs. Recently however, I downloaded a trial copy of PS CS6 and have been experimenting with it. I went to purchase it and found it costs $999.00. I can go to Amazon.com and purchase Adobe CS 5.5 Design Standard (Mac) for $1,249.00. I,m thinking since I'm new to Photoshop anyway, I get more for my money with the older CS5.5. Any advice? |

I have the design premium package for cs5.5 and love it to death. It's fantastic. My experience with Adobe is that I can go for a few years before I upgrade again. I've used adobe ps cs for years and felt I hadn't suffered without the newest changes of newest versions. It forces my creative hand to improvise. _________________ Jeff
