Not really new to Photoshop, just want to know how i can number multiple images without going through every one and typing the number.
I've just took photos of a wedding, and i have 180 photos that need numbering so i can put on to CD for the bride and groom to choose from. I will make a checklist on paper and they can check off the number of the photo.
Anyway of doing it in Photoshop? Or other programs i can use?
Any help is much appreciated, Thanks in advance. |

Hi Jamie,
Do you mean a number on the actual image (ie within the pixels) or the filename?
If you're looking at the filename, then try the batch rename command inside Adobe Bridge (if you have Photoshop CS2 or newer).

I think he means actually placing the numbers on the images. And, if that is the case, I don't think it is possible in PS without the use of a custom script. I'm in the process of trying to find out more about this and if there is a script already made floating around the web. No luck yet.

I meant on the actual image. Cheers for the info though, i needed to number all the file names aswell.
