Hello,

I have a very old picture that I would like to put on a canvas for my grandmother who is 98 years old.

I took a picture with a camera of the picture and also scanned it.

What I would like is for the middle person in the picture to be removed.

Anyone who can help me with that? I can e-mail you the larger size picture if neccesary. I need to reduce this attachment to under 200kb while the orginial was 1.3MB it's now at 20% of its normal size.
I would need it february 27th at the latest.

Any help would be greaty appreciated! Thanks!

Yeah make a dropbox or something (cloud storage) and provide a link to the full size photo someone here or myself might have some free time to have a crack at it.

Nice one Sebastian. That's amazing for someone new to PS

Thank you both very much!

My grandmother (who is 98 years old) will be very happy with this.

Just one question. One of the files is in .tiff . To what programm does that belong? (sorry only know jpeg and bmp and giff).

Thanks!

Tiff is a popular graphic format for documents that will be printed.
Without boring you with the technical details it retains perfect image quality.
Formats like JPEG and GIF lose quality when you save them through a process called compression.

Microsoft Photo Viewer should be able to open it and view it, as will Microsoft paint. Hopefully this is by default. Let me know if you have problems.
