ONLY letting me slice in even increments?

I remember when I could Divide the slice Horizontally or Vertically and adjust to the sizes to any increments I want afterwards. But now, when I use the slice tool, it just gives me the option of how many slices and and REQUIRES me to put how many pixels per slice....this is really annoying as I don't want pixels all evenly spaced....

Any help please? Using PS CS4
