|
|
Hi, i am new to these forums and although i have some experience using photoshop it is rather basic. I was hoping that someone could recommend a tutorial or give me a brief summary on how to turn an image into a series of flat panels and or inserting an individual image into each panel. I need to learn this effect for my current art project in school.
I have seen this effect used on wallpapers that depict sunsets and different landscapes.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!
If you think you can help but do not understand i can try explain more clearly if you tell me.
Thanks In Advance. |

explain more please .... I don't think it's hard, but won't know for sure until you explain what you're after.

Cut a path of the panel shape.
Paste image.
Select the (panel) path and make a layer mask.
Click off the link between the layer mask and the image layer.
Edit>Transform>Distort
The corner points will move independently, allowing you to give the illusion of perspective. |

Hi moondog thanks for the interest,
I am aiming to create 5 different panels or rectangles as such that will each display a part of an image with the end product being each rectangle adds up to create one full image although still being seperate.
example: an image of shark swimming which is cut up by each of these panels so that each panel displays a seperate bit of the shark such as the tail then its fins then it heads in a row
I hope that clears thing up
Thanks! |
