I'm doing M. Arch. in landscape. My pencil coloring skills suck. However I keep on doing stuff in Adobe's products.

So I got an idea. Make a Staedtler pencil shaded papers as a photoshop pattern and then use them as fills for rendering the plans exported from AutoCAD.

What is the best way to create pencil color patterns?

I tried using autodesk impressions, but it keeps crashing even if a drawing has two squares. #thumbsdown
