Photoshop CS4 just won't start.

The trial ran out, so I entered the serial, I got the green checkmark, clicked OK, then PS just randomly closes.

I try to open PS again, and some license agreement comes up, I click Accept, and that window closes, followed by PS NOT starting up. I even got the latest updates and all that. I've been google searching this crap for an hour. Someone. Please help.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

If yes, are you positive your serial number is legit? Adobe has incorporated safe guards (not sure what they are) to verify serial numbers. All I know is that they disable the program by some means. That is the only reason I ask.
