i am a bit noob at photoshop and need some help
i want to make a sig for the forums, i have a pic that it has a backround but i dont know how i can copy it(but the backround is very small cuz main pic takes most of place)and paste it so now that it is 364x416 it will be like 700x416 so in the left side you can see main character of pic and the rest has the same backround so i can add other things. is there any way to do that? i use photshop cs3

Is this what you were talking about? If so, I just made a new document at 700x416 and pasted your image in it on the left hand side. Then I used the clone stamp to replicate the background piece by piece. It is a bit blotchy where I stamped in the background, but that is easily fixed if you spend more than 5 minutes on it.

It looks like you have the concept down. The clone stamp tool just takes some practice to get used to. I am pretty horrible at explaining things so I'm not gonna try because I'll end up confusing you more but, here is a link to a great video tutorial that uses the clone stamp and healing brushes pretty extensively.

I would recommend watching some of his other tutorials also if you have some time.

havent watched it yet but i ll watch it soon, thanks for saying me to use healing brush, it fixed all the problems
