Pixel parity - Never evaluate a digital photo without looking at the definite pixels. Image editors repeatedly squeeze the image down to the dimension of your screen (or, even worse, down to the size of a window on our screen). No issue how good the software is, it can't take away a lot of pixels and still demonstrate you the same picture. Your picture editor should have a menu option for "Actual Size," "Actual Pixels" or "1:1." Slide your chair back a few feet if you want to get a longer view when you're viewing at the real pixels. And be certain to view your images full-screen; all high-quality editors let you do that.
