Ok someone wants an avatar made and I've been out of the photoshopping shiz for awhile now as I have moved across country. Basically here's the deal, I have a GIF image and I need to add some text to it. Well for some reason I can't and the damn layer is locked, so I can't do anything to the image as far as adding text to it. I've tried all the things that I can remember.

I need 2 things:

1) I need the following Avatar to have the following attached text added to it.

2) I need to know how you did it, so I can remember for the future.

Thanx guys...good to see you all again.

Ok I cannot add the PSD of the text, so here is the text in exact spelling. I recommend the IMPACT font for it and probably Black color for the text would be perfect.

Text:

ÐяλGση 9™

The size of the text can just be like 18 or 24, whatever fits on the bottom of the image.

is this what you wanted?

All I did was change the mode from "Index" to "rgb".
Then I double-clicked the layer; gave it a name.
Added a text layer.
added the "tm" as a rasterized shape.

That's it, it's pretty easy.Hope this is what you wanted.

the rest is just a couple of layer effects; stroke and outer glow.

Actually is there anyway to redo that avatar with the exact characters shown there in my first post???

Or are they not copy/pastable, or do we need a specific font type in order to mimic there characteristics?

I'm referring to:

ÐяλGση 9™

I think you would need a specific font......but it might work if you make it a selection are you paste it.
