I know this is a photoshop forum, just curious does any one use Golive6 ?

Been having some issues with it, don't know if I'm alone or not.

Adobe's support is shall we say much to be desired.

I have Go Live, its gathering dust, cant stand it, I will stick to dreamweaver , THAT I can understand.
In short Go Live! sucked big time.

Mind you I have Illustrator too, now everyone says its the Bomb!! personally although all the functions promise much, it is WAY too complicated for me, ( and on the whole I can usually suss complicated in the end)

I will be sticking with photoshop, and image ready, they really are nearly all you need, although I find the functionality on fireworks easier in some ways, but then I cut my teeth on it and am reluctant to let go.
again I have yet to find a webpage builder to beat dreamweaver, and I cant see me changing.

which leads nicely into:

what do you use to create and build a web site?

for me its:
DW for the html and php
Photoshop for images, but then fireworks as it interacts with DW
several plugins
and bryce for 3d rendering, although this 3d studio max is looking good ( just taking some practice)

and I tend to agree in part about the support for adobe, although the support for photoshop is excellent? maybe because it has become their premium product?

Personally I use all adobe software

Photoshop -->design

Photshop/Image Ready/ live Motion --> Web design

Golive* ---> WebManagement
Premiere/After Effects --> video editing

Aside from that I'm with bridal on the Illustrator issue, all the vector i need is in Photoshop thanks! Big Grin

*(Golive)
Buggier than a summer's picnic.
The thing is, the intentions of the software is truly powerful , it's integration with any other Adobe product is perhaps my deciding factor and I endure it daily for that feature alone, all the crashes & problems. oh god... and Adobe will insist it's on myside some place. "Well it's a bad OS install..." or something *shrugs
