well this has several techniques incorporated into it, so its a bit hard to just say you do it like this?
best way to learn is open this pic in PS, and see how much of it you can duplicate.

from waht i see it looks like a lot of gradients, set the gradient or whatever on difference and just keep using the gradient... then it looks like they used smudge tool a bit on some places

ya think?
sorry I cant see that, masks yes, but no gradients, but then its sometime difficult to break down a piece like this, I stand by what i said, mess with it see what you can duplicate, besides even if you cant, what you do come up with might be just as good if different neh?
