first a little background. i put the grid into it because i had just learned how to make it, and wanted to see how it would turn out. my favorite part of the wallpaper is the texture and color. although i never thought of using red as the main color in my wallpaper, i think it turned out very nice. the IW in the lower right is there because i use the same user name on all of the forums that i'm a member of, and thought that it looked nice there. the thing in the upper right is there because i thought i needed something in there to fill the space, and so i made that. i have no clue what to call it. the only other design element i have on there is the faded line that goes along the right side and the bottom. i put that in there to sort of connect the three major elements, and i think it gives it a nice touch. i left the upper left alone because that is where my icons go, and didn't think it really needed anything else.
please let me know what you think....good, bad, or otherwise. advise is always nice.

Pretty neat. I like the smeared 3D thingy. The only thing I would say is that the texture is maybe a little heavy, but this is down to personal taste. |

it looks pretty good except it needs some more definition in the shape cuz it looks to smugded togheter and hard to see
