I have done a painting and a major line is not straight... I wonder how I might straighten the ocean/horizon line on this painting? I'm guessing that I should use rulers somehow, but I'm not sure.
Any help would be appreciated.
Please find a picture enclosed, I hope.

The clone tool is probably your best bet here. Good paintings by the way! Wayne

what i did was use the polygon marquee to make a slection with a straight edge just slightly above the waterline. Then I deslected the legs, leving just a selection of what I wanted to be water. Then I just grabbed the clone stamp, sampled just bellow the horizon and then ran along the edge of the selection
Mine isn't level (you didn't actually say "level"), but with only a litle extra difficulty you could make it level too. You might wish also to dot he exact opposite, that is select the sky and clone it a bit
