Hi there
Im accually new to this forum business but if there is someone who can help me plz u are kindly welcome.
For about a week now i can't open (use) my CS2 because it always crashes when it is "Reading Prefferences" Now i think i have tried everything. i have completely un(re)installed several times but it stays the same problem. i have also tried to instal it on another hard disk but still no luck.
So im asking for HELP!!! anyone. Coz i can't do anything with out Photoshop. |

hmm, have you tried contacting Adobe? it sounds like an isolated issue and people here may not be able to help unless they have had similar issues. The only thing I can think of is that something isnt being installed, is there a scratch on the CD? |

Try the "cure all" (well if fixes some things anyway) hold down CTRL+ALT+SHIFT as soon as PS starts to load, this deletes the preferences file, PS then replaces it with a new one, reinstalling doesn't do this, it often works when all else has failed. Wayne |
