Hi, welcome to Photoshop Forums. It's an interesting image, but is the writing supposed to be readable on that? If it is then I'd have to say that I can't even make out a letter of it. It is an interesting look though. For a first banner I think it's not to bad. Much better than any of the banners I first made when messing around with PS.

that banner is rele gd... except the writing....lol... i like the emboss and everything just make it legible next time?hm.. can i post 1 of mine in this thread? i dnt rele want to start a new thread...

I don't want to ruffle any feathers here but I see no merit or quality in your banner at all.
Is it the grey one with standard filter applied and some other filter/effect?
Not to be needlessly harsh, perhaps you are looking for pointers or ideas for banners, I am sure that someone here could helps you.

Actually, for a 1st banner, it's pretty good. I do agree with some of the earlier statements. I can read it, but it does require a bit of work. That could be a good thing, as it forces someone to look longer at it. Overall, i would say it lacks Ooomph, but that will happen in time.  |
