I am attempting a create an action that will include 3 unique save as commands. The only hitch is that I want to the file location to be dependent upon the source image which is being used at the start of the batch.

In other words, I would like the 3 file to be saved to the same location as the source image with 3 unique names.

As far as I can tell if you put a save or save as command into a batch it records file path which is locked in from that point on.

Any suggestions or tips would be apprectiated.

Make a copy of the images you wish to alter. So if you have three folders (Folder A, Folder B, and Folder C), each with 100 images. Copy those three folders making a total of six folders. Then when you make your action don't include a save as step. Then when you set up your batch, choose save and close from the destination drop down menu, and apply the batch to the copied folders. You don't need to make a copy of the folders if you don't care about keeping the originals.

Was that what you were looking for?
