Wave

I receive hundreds of PDFs as composite PDFs with five separations in them saved out from programs such as indesign and quark, but I need to open them in Photoshop and retain the five separations after running some simple actions on each file - does anybody know if this is possible in ANY versions of Photoshop to date. I can open pre-separated PDFs as single seps in greyscale and then flatten each image and merge all five seps as a multichannel and then reassign the colors to each channel, but I really need a fast way to do this, can anybody help?

Thanks
