Hey guys, first post (w00t!).
Anyways, I have some text over a transparent background. I used a brush to brush on a texture (in red color), but the texture also goes off of the text and onto the transparent background. Is there a way I can just take out the text with that pattern on it, but leave the pattern that isn't on the text?
Thanks... _________________ Yeah. |

Hi OwNaGeR,
Not sure what you mean..
If you want to mask pattern outside the text:
- Hold down [Alt] key
- In the Layers palette, click the line between the "text" and "pattern" layers
If you want to copy the painted text to other image:
- In the Layers palette, [Ctrl]-click the text layer thumbnail to select opaque pixels
- Pull down "Edit > Copy Merged"
