Hi
i have a black and white dirt mask image that i want to use to mask some textures. What is the correct way to go about this. I know how to paint mask into the mask of a layer, but not how to get an existing black and white mask image into a layer's mask.

Hi danfitchie,
To duplicate a layer mask into the confines of an existing mask just ALT drag it on top of the mask to be replaced.
Hope this helps
