How would I go about making the cool red line they have swooping across the screen? It's a really neat effect I would like to learn how to be able to do. Also, what blending options did they use and other techniques to get a great logo? Thanks,

hmm...do you have a graphic tablet? by having one of those you can draw out that line and by adjusting the pressure you apply to the tablet it determines the thickness and shape of your line. Simple brush tool. That is my best guess for the line.

A Graphic tablet is nothing but a drawing pad that can sense pressure, usually wireless.
pretty nifty perks it has ( i could care less about BUT ) you can hand write emails and such.

Here is an example of a graphic tablet. I use it a lot in photo shop, not so much to write or draw more to get fine detail touch ups. I found using a mouse can sometimes be more a hassle than anything.

ok before you go and buy a tablet you can acheive that effect very easily with out one just draw the line you want with the pen tool and then switch to your brush and choose the brushes color you want and the size you want then switch back to the pen tool and right click the line you drew with it a menu will pop up and then hit stroke path and boom you got the design
