I completed a class at the junior college for Photoshop CS2. I did all the lessons on the enclosed CD. I got an error that said bridge not defined. So I thought I could remove the progam and reinstall it off the included CD. It doesn't work now. The errors I keep getting are: color setting could not be found, default contours, styles custom shapes, tools and presets could not be found. I do have Photoshop 7 on my machine. Am I left with a $350 book and nothing to use it with? I believe the program was on the network to start with, but I was able to do the lessons on my machine.

You may indeed have a $350 book ... have you tried contacting Adobe directly to explain your situation? Also did you uninstall it properly?
