Hey, I am trying to make some art for a joystick I will be making. I don't have much experience with photoshop, so I am having some trouble coming up with something I like. This picture will also be printed at 300dpi so it is hard finding character art (Street Fighter lol).

This is what I have come up with so far. I think it is ok, but looks a little bland. Any ideas of what I could do with it?









Also The pictures I have found that fit the size requirement don't have transparent backgrounds. I am having a really hard time trimming the background out and still having the image look good on a colored background.

Could anyone give me tips on that.
