I designed my layout totally in photoshop.
(Direct link as I don't want to waste bandwidth)

I sliced everything according to a tutorial I found online. But I can't type into the 2 sliced boxes on the main page, or under the first box to the right. I could make a text box but of course that would make it an image after I finished typing in it.
How do I make a box to allow text to be typed into it and/or changed later in html form? If I add a text box or table in dreamweaver it just screws everything up. I'm probably going about it wrong and it has been a while since I did anything like this. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks. |

relax nefariouz, it may be that the right person hasn't come along yet to help you.
I've never used photoshop to do what you're doing, although it looks similar to fireworks.
can't you slice it (as you have) and then up the pieces you want to put text on as background and THEN add the text? _________________ moondog

I would strongly advise not to slice that way you are.
To do it properly you'll need a decent amount of CSS knowledge, So you can code it to where the content box will expand.
Anyways, To your actual question lol
See in the top left of each slice section? where it names it?
Look into the HTML output for it, You're going to REMOVE the IMG tag with that section of it, And code yourself a div for it (instead of it just being an image)
Make sure the div is the exact same size as the image that its taking place of
If you have already did this and its still doing that let me know, but that sounds like what it is. _________________ Free Photoshop Tutorials
