big text size issue

Hi, when i'm using a text the size doesnt work. Its realy small even though im using 72 pt you cant even see the text. I dont know what to do because i havent done anything with the settings or anything. And the text act weird in other ways to. Like, you cant see what you have written if you dont select another layer and then its just thr layers name that changes name because you cant see the text
plz help!

Hey modnar,

Most likely your problem is caused by resolution. Go to Image -> Image Size and look at the resolution value, I'd say it's something above 300ppi which is fine if your printing but a little excessive if you're not. Try increasing the point size of the text by typing directly into the input box. I use 300+ point text on a regular basis when designing for print.
