So im new to photoshop and have the CS3 version and cant find any good beginner magazine with good and easy to follow instructions! Can any of you guys point me in the right direction? |

Hi pro11,
maybe no magazines, but there are PLENTY of free tutorials out there for photoshop .... just type "photoshop tutorials" into google and take a look.
I'm not trying to be mean, but photoshop is not really something that you can just get the whole thing in one session. I've been doing photoshop now for about 9 or 10 years and there is NO WAY that I know it all. I still use google to learn new things.
If you need specific help ... PLEASE ask us here, but .... one place you can look for some "overall" help is

but this costs money, so when you need specifics, ask here

hi,
I agree with moondog, i don't thhink you'll find anything...
like you I am a novice, and I haven't found anything for beginners ..
Now what might be better than a magazine is books.... there several out there...... I don't have any good begginers books bookmarked... I'll see if i can find one, but you might repost your question with enphass on books instead of magazines ... you should get a lot of good suggestions....
if your looking at retouching these 2 books are considered very good but there othere good ones ..

other than that.... I favor all the free tutorials out there.... bot the graphics/text and the video's... there alot of good one out there .... this is a couple ...
Now the one below.. i like it.. now it enphases is on cars but the techniques applies to anything... thiere group of tutorials covers the basics, and there nice simple and easy to follow... good set of them....

now below is a good example of a free video tutorial..... on the number of ways to replace/correct colors... replacing colors seems to always come up.; smileing... oh the site it self has many other tutorials and you can download them to the hd ....

but there tons of other sites... what I suggest.... creats a favorite bookmark folders and start searching and saving... smiling.... also what i do is the tutorials i really like ( and got a couple of hundreds...lol ... i save them to my hard drive for futrue reference...
