Hi all,
I'm using CS3 & have just tried to edit some images. When I crop & press enter, the image crop doesn't take, I'm presented with a tiny dot in the middle of the screen which if you zoom in becomes a rectangle, but my image is gone (undo crop restores this). Upon checking this with other images I discover it occurs all the time.
How can I get my crop function back? Please help!

Hi there,
How do you crop the picture? Do you use the crop tool or do you create a selection using the selection tool then use the crop function in the Image menu? _________________ Like To Learn? So Do I...

Hi,
I tried it both ways, finally cured it by resetting CS3 on startup.
I have another problem now that I hope you can help with, if that's not too cheeky .
On using the healing brush tool I find I get the desired result whilst I have the mouse button clicked, the area I want "overwritten" is healed as it should be. That is until I release the mouse button & the area I brushed over just reverts to its original state. Almost, it leaves a faint smudge, but I suspect that will cease to be a problem once I get it doing what it's supposed to. Very frustrating, any ideas?
Thanks for your reply,

When you do that, or use any brushing tools, make sure that the right settings are set on the brush window, sometimes the mouse pressure is too low and that can create that kind of problems _________________ Like To Learn? So Do I...

Got it, mucked about & realised it wasn't set onto "replace".
Thanks for your help.
