Hi,
I'm a new photoshop user and I'm having trouble making my image transparent. It's a simple .jpg, logo for our company. I tried "save as" and tried to save it as a .gif... and that didn't work.
Would appreciate any help!
Thanks,
Dennielle |

Use File>Export for web and devices. Then use gif or ping-24 (jpg doesn't support transparency) and make sure you have the Transparency box checked. Also, you may want to set the Matte color to match the color of the background on your webpage.
Hope it helps! |

Or save as png format, the background will be gone
Or, make sure the background is on a different layer and that layer can be made invisible in PS, right click on a visible layer and select "Merge visible" and then save as JPEG, should also do the trick (I think)... _________________ Like To Learn? So Do I...
