Is your batch job basically opening, resizing and saving an image? Or is it more involved than that? Reason I ask is that the problem you are having could be in one of a few different steps in the process. Not sure that I myself can help you. But I think those that can will need more information.

Ok, I guess I should have been more clear. Going to file, scripts, and image processor... to run a whole folder of images ..... it is resizing them properly, and saving them, but not converting to 72dpi.. and this is cs3.

Not sure if it is the same in CS3, but in the CS4 Image Processor, you can add an Action to the process. If CS3 has the same option, open an image and create a new action. Once you are recording, Alt+Ctrl+I to open the image size dialog. Set the ppi to 72 first. Then set the width and height. Click OK and then stop recording.

Back in the Image Processor add the action you just created to your process and run a test. Should return the results you want.

Let us know how it works out. If it works, great! If not, someone will know another method.

Regards,
Dave

That is what I would do also. Create an action. Anything with automation, Actions are your friend.
