i cant resize both my pen tool fill and path at same time

hi, i cant resize my pen tool path and fill shape at the same time, it just changes the size of the path and leaves the fill separate and unchanged. any help greatly appreciated to fix this. thank you. derek

Before using the pen tool, click the Shape Layers button, just between the words File and Edit at the top of the screen.Then it will fill automatically and you will be able to change the size of both together.

ok thank you very much. is there a way to resize it if i choose "paths" then fill it later?

One way would be to make your foreground color the same color as your layer. Choose Shape Layers, make your path, then double click on the Shape Layer icon (not the mask) in the layers Panel.You can change it in the color picker to any color you want and it will fill. Then you can resize as you wish.
