Can someone please guide me on how to get the following effects like the photos shown below...I've tried saturation, highlights, brightness/contrast and still can't seem to get this beautiful soft warm glow effect.

You can achieve such an effect using the Lens Blur filter in photoshop. One way to do it is to use selection tools to select everything you want to have this type of blur, and then use the filter. As I am a firm believer in "you can never have too many layers", you can also select, copy, and paste what you don't want blurred into another layer, and then work with what you do want blurred on the former layer. |
