cannot get preferences to change when opening an EPS file

I am trying to open a EPS files and when the dialog box pops up, the default is CMYK and 72 DPI. I would like it to default at 200DPI and RGB so that I can avoid the arduous task of changing these every time. I never had an issue with this in previous versions of PS - which seemed to remember what I wanted - but with CS4, it aint sticking.



How can I make this the preference?
