so I am trying to make a solid texture but have an issue. if you look at the picture you might be able to tell it's giraffe fur and I am trying to make the fur all the orange-ish color but I have the white stripes in my way. I want to turn the white stripes into the same orange color, but keep the texture and detail that the white stripes have. Any way to do this?

this can be achieved a couple of ways
1. you could just use the clone stamp and keep 're-targeting' your stamp to the 'brownish' areas
and then the healing tool to 'smooth' it all out.
2. you could try using quick mask on the white and then just adjust the colors/saturation etc.
3. you could copy a section of 'brown' and then using your 'magic wand' to select the white areas and then paste in the copied section of 'brown' and then again use the healing tool to smooth things out.
hope this helps.
