|
|
Hi!
Although I have spent hours fiddling and read various tutorials, I still seem to be missing the point in a big way here.
I want to make a simple animation from 3 pictures (gifs saved on my computer). I understand that I have to get these 3 pictures to be layers but I can't work out how to do that. One tutorial referred to Image>convert to editable layer but I don't see this option on my menu (using CS2). I have to admit to not having mastered layers properly yet.
I would be so grateful if someone could give a step by step description of how to import 3 different pictures and somehow get them into one animation. The ability to make simple animations would make an enormous difference to the project I am working on.
Thanks so much in advance. |

Not sure about CS2. In CS4 there is a script that will open a series of images as layers in a new document. To access it go to File>Scripts>Load files into stack
Click the browse button. Select the images you want. Uncheck any boxes at the bottom (unless you want those options) and click OK.
As for animating them, gonna have to wait for someone else. I haven't done animation in PS.

Yes that works in CS2 too Patrick! Thanks so much!!! I would never have figured that out myself and all the tutorials seemed to assume one knew how to do it. Actually the animation bit is easy after that. Thanks again. |
