Trying to take actual color photographs and transform them into a style where the predominant features of the person are white and the shadows are the color of the medium it is printed on (Ex. Black t-shirt where most of the image is white and the shadows are the color of the shirt). I don't know what this style is called but it makes for simple t-shirt prints. Thanks.

Hi csurugbyhooker,
Try "Image > Adjustments > Threshold"

Regards.
