I cropped several photos to 4 X 6 in PS CS3 and saved to two files-
one file as PSD's and the other as JPEGs.
WORKFLOW-
Open file in PS
Crop to 4X6
Hold down shift and drag a prepared 4X6 layer on top as a frame
Save as - save to file s PSD
Save as- save to file - choose JPEG - save
close file.
Later I opened a JPEG in CS3. When I checked the image size it said
5 X 7.5 not 4 X 6. All the JPEGS were the same. I checked the PSD files and they are all 4 X 6.
I opened a JPEG in Bridge and looked in the metadata - it says 4 X 6.
When I opened it in PS CS3 and look at the image size it says 5 X 7.5
What is going on?
