Hello everyone,
I am making a single color logo to be put on the back of a TShirt for my Local First Aid Squad. The logo is simple but I needed to put the outline of the state EMT shield around it. Here is where my problem started... I cant find a clean version of it and I am not an artist (I'm a video editor) and the version I have has VERY jagged edges, is there anyway I can clean these up?

Here is what I have so far:

This is somewhat complicated but it can be done. Use the pen tool to trace a path half way around the shield. Then duplicate the path and flip it horizontal. Join the two and creat a custom shape from it.

Add this new shape to a new layer and fill it with the blue color, select the shape and contract the selection by about 60 pixels, then cut out the new selection. That will leave the shield outline in blue.

Color over the original shield with white, and use the new shield in it's place.

Hawkeye,

Thank you, it looks great!
I have to give that a shot myself now to see if I can do it.

I really appreciate the quick response.
