Hi,
I would just like to know if there is there a way to make a selection in photoshop (or any other image editing software for that matter) using a texture sample ? Sort of like pattern recognition. Say I've got multiple photos of buildings with brick facades and I want to select all parts of the image which have brick. Is there any way to do that by selecting a sample of the brick and saying , in effect, "Now go get all the brick" ?
If there is then that would save me a whole lot of time and would be beyond cool.
Many thanks for any helpful comments.

Me either. I've been looking everywhere for this kind of thing and it eludes me still. *sigh* But it would be totally wicked. Someone with skillz needs to look into this. |

can you use the magic wand and then select similar and hopefully it would leave just a little to deselect? |
